Brain-Computer Interfaces

A brain-computer interface is a direct communication pathway between the brain and an external device. BCIs interpret brain signals to control computers, prosthetic devices, or other machines. They can be invasive (implanted in the brain) or non-invasive (using external sensors). BCIs have applications in assistive technology for disabled individuals and are being explored for enhancing human cognitive abilities.
